A dedication class for parents will be April 29 at 4:30 p.m. in the Genesis Sanctuary. Childcare will be available for this class. Reservations and class attendance are required. Good Friday WOC will serve communion on Good Friday at two times on Friday, April 6: 11:00 am-1:00pm and again from 4:00pm-7:00pm.

Our Sunday evening service this weekend will be our Palm Sunday Easter Volunteer Service.
Preparation for Parenting: If you are an expectant parent or your child is less than five months old, this class is for you. You will learn how to manage your newborn's feeding, waketime, and sleeptime. This group will meet in the Prayer Center.
Preparation for the Toddler Years: If your baby is 5 -18 months old, this class is for you. Here you will learn how to manage your child's day, mealtime basics, and the preventive side of correction. This group will meet in room 2312.
The Toddlerhood Transition Years: If your child is 18-36 months old, this class is for you. Here you will learn about structure and routine, toddler conflict, and the purpose of obedience. This group will meet in room 2311.
Parenting the Middle Years: If your child is 8-12 years of age, this class is for you. Here you will learn how to create a family-dependent and not a peer-dependent child, how to lead by your relational influence and not by coercive authority and what discipline methods work and what methods do not work. This group will meet in room 2000.

WOC is privileged to welcome TRUTH the weekend of March 24-25. TRUTH was formed by John Roger Breland in June of 1971 and is celebrating their 40th anniversary with a new group and a tour that includes a number of churches and venues; they have partnered with the American Leprosy Missions to help children in the Democratic Republic of the Congo that suffer from this disease. TRUTH will be a part of all weekend services and will be performing in a special concert on Sun PM for a love offering.
The next New Beginnings Class is Monday, March 5th at 7:00 pm in New Harvest Sanctuary. This class provides an introduction to WOC for those new to the church. Class information includes the history, vision, mission, our distinctives and beliefs. You may register for this class at the Activities and Events Centers or Ticket Central at weekend worship services or online. Childcare is available with registration for birth - 6th grade.

Sunday, December 18 at 6:00pm in All Nations Sanctuary. WOC presents "A Fancy Yancy Christmas" concert for the entire family-featuring Yancy. Singer, songwriter and author, Yancy has shared the stage with some of the music industry's brightest stars, including Nichole Nordeman, Mute Math, Newsboys, 4Him, and many others. As a songwriter she wrote the #1 hit song "I Don't Want to Go," featured on Avalon's Grammy-nominated album Oxygen. From elementary to youth to young adults, Yancy leads all ages in worship. Her "Fancy Yancy Christmas" features cheerful arrangements of classic and original Christmas selections.
Gift Wrap will be happening this year from December 3-24 at Stones River Mall.
Miss PattyCake returns to WOC on Saturday, December 10th at 10:00 am in All Nations Sanctuary. Miss PattyCake concerts and praise songs are created for children ages 1-5. But, the whole family will enjoy Miss PattyCake because she brings out the child in everyone! Understanding the attention levels of preschoolers, Miss PattyCake encourages lots of interaction with fun, activity songs that kids of all ages can enjoy. Tickets are $5 in advance and $8 at the door.

Sunday, December 11, 6:00 pm in Three Crosses Sanctuary, WOC's annual Christmas night of music and worship features World Outreach Worship and guest, gospel singer/songwriter Fernando Ortega. Classically trained as a pianist but also steeped in the Hispanic tradition of his New Mexico homeland, he recorded more than a half-dozen LPs for various labels before signing to Myrrh/Word in 1997, as part of a Christian musical renaissance. At the heart of his appeal is a complex combination rare in contemporary Christian music-Ortega is a storyteller, worship leader, artist and vocalist. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
This year WOC collects toys for the Salvation Army, Toys for Tots and West Main Mission. Please bring new, unwrapped toys for children infant - 12 years old to worship services on December 3/4 and 10/11.
